Turns event notes, emails or flyers into free sign-up sheets on im-in.events, with templates, draft links and live sheet creation.
What you can do
Draft a sign-up sheet link from an email, notes, flyer text or event description, pre-filling the Describe it box on im-in.events where the full sheet is built with dates, roles, waitlists and reminders. List sign-up sheet templates such as potluck, meal train and volunteer shifts with their prefilled slots. Create a live sign-up sheet from a title, slot names and a time zone, returning a shareable URL and emailing a private manage and claim link to the owner's address.
When to use it
Useful when organizing an event, potluck, meal train or volunteer schedule and you want an assistant to turn rough notes into a ready sign-up sheet without filling in the form by hand.
Requirements
A remote endpoint at im-in.events reached over streamable HTTP; no package, environment variable or header is declared. Creating a live sheet requires the owner's email address, and the service emails manage and claim links to it.
Before you install
Creating a sheet sends the owner's email address to im-in.events and emails a private manage and claim link to that address, so anyone with access to the inbox can manage the sheet. Sheets are limited to one per owner email per day. Draft links only pre-fill the site's form; the sheet is built there, not by the assistant.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/events.im-in%2Fsign-up-sheets/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Turn the user's email, notes, flyer text or description of their event into a link that opens im-in.events with those words in the Describe it box. Pressing Make my draft there builds the whole sign-up sheet (dates, times, place, every role with its count, waitlist, reminders and its look) for the user to check and publish. Creates nothing and needs no account.
