Overview

AI-generated overview

Scans Magic: The Gathering binder photos, turning uploaded page images into processed scan jobs, with free daily pages and paid credits.

What you can do
  • Get a free API key link for a signed-in MTG Trade account
  • Buy a 5€ / 500-credit pack and poll the purchase until the key is issued
  • Upload one binder photo (base64) to start a scan job
  • Poll a scan job until it is processed or failed
When to use it
Useful when you want an assistant to process photos of MTG binders or collection pages and retrieve the resulting scan jobs, rather than cataloguing cards by hand.
Requirements
Remote streamable HTTP endpoint at mtgtrade.com; no local install. An MTG Trade account for the free key, and an API key sent as an Authorization Bearer header for scanning and job polling. Payment for credit packs goes through Mollie checkout or x402 with a PAYMENT-SIGNATURE header.
Before you install
Scanning costs money after 3 free pages per day at €0.01 per page, and credit packs cost 5€; purchases are real payments. The API key is a credential returned by the purchase polling tool and must be kept private. Uploaded binder photos are sent to a third-party service.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open MTG Trade Scan in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/fr.mtg-trade%2Fscan/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows
