Overview

AI-generated overview

Remote MCP server exposing a single superbot tool that takes a plain-language request and returns a finished result, from web research to documents and images.

What you can do
  • Send a plain-language request and get a finished result back
  • Search the web for current information and read pages or pasted links
  • Build spreadsheets, documents, decks and PDFs from a spec
  • Generate images from text prompts
  • List matching adapters and inspect one adapter's inputs before running a task
  • Find and, with approval and the paired desktop app, install an MCP server or command-line tool for a job
When to use it
Worth adding when you want a coding agent to hand off general-purpose tasks — research, document and spreadsheet creation, image generation, or setting up recurring automations — to a hosted agent instead of doing them itself.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no local package. OAuth sign-in is required, prompted in the browser on the first call. The link installer path needs the account owner to approve a link URL once. Installing extra tools on your computer requires the desktop app to be paired.
Before you install
The server acts with its own credentials and approvals, so results and any actions are attributed to your account. Installing MCP servers or command-line tools on your computer requires your approval and a paired desktop app. Answers are AI-generated and can be wrong. Sign-in is OAuth through the browser.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open superbot.gg · your own AI agent in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/gg.superbot%2Fsuperbot/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Other MCP clients

Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

README

superbot for coding agents

superbot is your own AI agent: anything you can do on your computer, it can do, fast, and it runs your recurring tasks on a schedule across all your devices. Try it now in your browser, free and with no account: https://superbot.gg/chat?utm_source=github&utm_medium=registry

Ask it to turn your receipts into an expense sheet, sort your downloads folder every Friday, or watch a page and tell you what changes. Ask once and it sets the job up as an automation that runs on a schedule without you. Use it for business admin, personal admin and the busywork of your job. It asks before it uses your computer. It also makes pictures, video, songs, 3D and apps, and browses the web.

Coding agents can use it as a tool. This repository holds the public descriptors that connect a coding agent to superbot: a Claude Code plugin and marketplace, a Codex plugin, a Gemini CLI extension, an MCP server entry and one skill. Every one of them points at the same remote MCP server and the same single tool, superbot.

Install

Pick the path that matches your agent. They all end at the same server.

The remote MCP server

The server is https://api.superbot.gg/mcp (streamable HTTP). The first call asks you to sign in, in your browser.

sh
claude mcp add --transport http superbot https://api.superbot.gg/mcp -s usercodex mcp add superbot --url https://api.superbot.gg/mcpgemini mcp add --transport http -s user superbot https://api.superbot.gg/mcp

Restart the agent so it sees the new server.

The link installer

An agent CLI can skip the browser sign-in. Post to the installer, run the add command in the reply, and the account owner approves the link_url once:

sh
curl -sS -X POST "https://api.superbot.gg/mcp/install?client=claude-code"

Use client=codex for Codex. Its reply carries a config_toml entry instead.

The skill

sh
npx skills add https://superbot.gg

The skill is the file in skills/superbot/SKILL.md. It is also served at https://superbot.gg/skills/superbot/SKILL.md and listed in the index at https://superbot.gg/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json.

As a plugin

Claude Code, from inside a session:

/plugin marketplace add superbot-gg/superbot-mcp/plugin install superbot@superbot

Codex:

sh
codex plugin marketplace add superbot-gg/superbot-mcpcodex plugin add superbot@superbot

Gemini CLI:

sh
gemini extensions install https://github.com/superbot-gg/superbot-mcp

What the tool does

There is one MCP tool, named superbot. You give it a request in plain words and it hands back a finished result. The input fields that are set pick one of three modes: search_tools lists the adapters that match a task, get_tool_details returns the inputs of one adapter, and omni runs the request.

People ask it to:

  • search the web for current information
  • read a web page or a link you paste
  • build a spreadsheet, document, deck or PDF from a spec
  • generate an image from a text prompt
  • find an MCP server or command-line tool for a job superbot lacks, and install it on your computer after you approve (that needs the desktop app paired)

superbot acts for you with its own credentials and approvals. Its answers are AI-generated and can make mistakes.
