GetRun is a hosted MCP connector that lets an assistant generate images, video, audio and chat replies from a catalogue of AI models, billed per use in Rupiah.

When to use it
Useful when you want media generation and chat models inside an MCP client without managing separate provider API keys, and when you want to see the price of a generation before spending. Also relevant if you need reusable character identities or simple 3D scene rendering.
Requirements
Remote Streamable HTTP endpoint; nothing to install. Authorisation is OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration through a consent screen, with read, generate and manage scopes. A GetRun account with a funded Rupiah balance is needed for paid calls. Clients that only speak stdio can bridge with mcp-remote.
Before you install
Generation, chat and render tools spend real money from your GetRun balance; check the estimate first. Tools can upload images to GetRun storage, save or delete characters, hide creations, and create or overwrite 3D project scenes. Prompts and uploaded images are sent to GetRun and its model providers. Failed tasks are not charged, but billing history cannot be deleted.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open GetRun in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

GetRun MCP Server

Remote Model Context Protocol server for GetRun — generate images, video, audio and chat with 61 AI models from 16 providers from inside any MCP client.

No API key to paste. The server speaks OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration, so a client is authorised once through a consent screen and billed against the same Rupiah balance as the web app and the REST API.

This repository holds the connector's public metadata and setup guide. The service itself is hosted — there is nothing to install and no server to run.

Install

Claude (claude.ai)

Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. Name it GetRun, paste the URL above, save, then press Connect and approve the permissions.

The live list is always at GET /v1/models — this table is a snapshot, that endpoint is the source of truth.

Billing

Identical to the REST API: every tool calls /v1 in the same process, so pricing, balance reservation, schema validation and rate limits are the same, and results appear in the dashboard's usage history.

Generation tools spend real balance. getrun_estimate_price returns the cost of a call before you make it, and a task that fails is never charged.
