Overview

AI-generated overview

Free remote MCP server that loads a public website's homepage and reports its HTTPS setup, TLS certificate and security headers with plain-English fixes.

What you can do
  • Check one public website's HTTPS setup, TLS certificate expiry and security headers (HSTS, CSP, X-Frame-Options, cookie flags, mixed content and more)
  • Get a score, verdict and severity levels for each finding, explained in plain English with a suggested fix
  • Read bundled documentation resources on how scoring works and on usage examples and limits
  • Use a ready-made audit prompt for a guided site-check workflow
When to use it
Useful when someone asks whether a site is secure, why a browser shows a warning, which security headers a site is missing, or when its TLS certificate expires. It is a quick, no-auth check for a single public homepage rather than a full site scan.
Requirements
Remote streamable HTTP endpoint at corrie.io; no authentication, environment variables or headers declared. The target must be a public website reachable over HTTPS, and each call loads the homepage once and takes a few seconds.
Before you install
The server fetches the target site's homepage itself, so the domain you name is sent to Corrie. Results cover only the homepage and are advisory; treat the score and verdict as guidance, not a full security audit.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Corrie Site Check in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.corrie%2Fsite-check/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Check a website's HTTPS and security headers

Loads the homepage of one public website over HTTPS, the way a visitor's browser would, and reports its HTTPS setup, TLS certificate and security headers (Strict-Transport-Security, Content-Security-Policy, X-Frame-Options, X-Content-Type-Options, Referrer-Policy, cookie flags, mixed content and server banners). Returns a score from 0 to 100, a verdict, the TLS certificate issuer and expiry date, and each finding with a severity (critical, high, medium or low) and a plain-English fix that includes nginx or Cloudflare examples. Use it for questions like 'is example.com secure?', 'what security headers is my site missing?', 'when does this site's certificate expire?' or 'why does Chrome say my site is not secure?'. Input is a bare domain (example.com) or an https:// address. A bare domain checks the homepage; if you include a path, that one page is loaded instead. It does not log in, submit forms, scan ports, crawl other pages or test for vulnerabilities, and nothing is stored. It refuses private, internal and local addresses, plain http://, ports other than 443 and addresses with a user name; those come back as an isError result with a message saying what to change. A check usually takes 1 to 10 seconds. Running it twice on the same site gives the same result unless the site changed. Read corrie://docs/scoring for how the score and verdict work.
