Requirements

Before you install
The renderer launches a headless Chromium browser on your machine to process the HTML you supply, so only render content you trust. Output files are written to a local output directory. The README warns that similarly named packages exist, so install the exact slideshot-mcp package.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Slideshot in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.

Wrong install?

The MCP package name is slideshot-mcp on npm (canonical Glama listing). Use npx -y slideshot-mcp — not unrelated html-to-slides or third-party scoped copies from generic searches.
