Generate short-form video ads for Instagram Reels and TikTok from any AI assistant.
The publisher's own server: demo.st
Overview
DemoStudio lets an AI assistant generate short-form video ads for Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts from a text brief, then check render status and set
- What you can do
- Generate a rendered short-form video ad from a text brief, with optional product URL crawling, music mood, subtitles and voiceover gender choices. Check build progress for a project and retrieve the exported video URL. List the available scene types and Remotion templates. Create a recurring schedule so videos are generated automatically on a daily, weekly, biweekly or monthly cadence.
- When to use it
- Use it when you want an assistant to turn a product brief into a social video ad without leaving the conversation, or to set up recurring automated video generation for a brand.
- Requirements
- Runs locally over stdio via the npm package, so Node.js 18+ is needed. A DemoStudio API key is required in the DEMOSTUDIO_API_KEY environment variable. Network access to the DemoStudio service is implied.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open DemoStudio in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.
Other MCP clients
Follow the launch instructions in the repository.

Maintainer guide — publishing updates
1. Make code changes in src/index.ts
2. Bump the version
3. Publish to npm
The prepublishOnly script runs tsc automatically before publishing.
4. Update server.json — bump both version fields
5. Re-authenticate and publish to MCP registry
The registry JWT expires after ~1 hour. Always re-login before publishing.
6. Push to GitHub
Notes
server.json$schemaURL is versioned — only update it if the registry publishes a new schema version (check https://github.com/modelcontextprotocol/registry/blob/main/docs/reference/server-json/CHANGELOG.md).mcpregistry_*files are gitignored — they contain auth tokens and must never be committed- The npm token is stored in
~/.npmrc— re-runnpm set //registry.npmjs.org/:_authToken <token>if it expires

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.

Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.

Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.
