Official public data as MCP tools: EU/US tenders, NPI Registry, UK Companies House, Mexico data.
Overview
Apify-hosted MCP tools that pull official public data — EU/US tenders, US NPI healthcare providers, UK Companies House, Mexican business and job listings — as…
- What you can do
- Search EU public tenders from TED: notices, awards, buyers, deadlines, values, CPV codes
- Find US federal contract opportunities from SAM.gov: solicitations, set-asides, NAICS, awards
- Look up US clinics, hospitals and pharmacies by specialty, city or ZIP from the NPI Registry
- Retrieve UK companies, new incorporations, SIC codes and officers from Companies House
- Pull Mexican businesses from INEGI DENUE and yellow pages, plus OCC Mundial job listings
- Bound each call with a maxResults cap and fetch only new items since the last run
- When to use it
- Useful when an assistant needs structured, sourced public-register data for procurement research, lead lists, company due diligence or local business discovery, without writing scraping code. Each tool is enabled individually through the Apify MCP endpoint.
- Requirements
- Remote streamable HTTP endpoint at mcp.apify.com with the desired Actor tools named in the URL query. Requires an Apify account and either OAuth sign-in on first use or an Apify API token sent as an Authorization Bearer header. The UK Companies House tool also needs your own Companies House API key. Usage is billed per result.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Hexadata in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.4robot%2Fhexadata/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.Other MCP clients
Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

Hexadata MCP — official data sources as tools for AI agents
Hexadata publishes Apify Actors that turn official registers and public portals into clean JSON. Every Actor is also an MCP tool: any MCP client (Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, custom agents) can call it through the Apify MCP server, with no code to deploy.
This repository holds the connection instructions, a ready-to-use server.json for MCP registries, and example prompts. The tools themselves run on Apify and are billed per result (no results, no cost).
Tools
All tools share the same field conventions (id, title/name, url, country, publishedAt, scrapedAt), an onlyNewSinceLastRun mode for scheduled runs, and a maxResults cap that bounds the cost of every call.
Connect in one step
Add the Apify MCP server to your client with the tools you want. Use one Actor:
or several, comma-separated:
Authentication: sign in with OAuth on first use (the client opens apify.com), or send your Apify token as Authorization: Bearer <APIFY_TOKEN>. Running tools needs an Apify account; a free account includes monthly credit.
Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf (JSON config)
Claude Code
VS Code (.vscode/mcp.json)
The configurator at mcp.apify.com generates the snippet for any client; the Apify CLI can also install it (apify mcp install cursor).
Example prompts
- "Which contract notices for road maintenance were published on TED in Poland and Czechia this week, and which close before December 15?" →
eu-tenders-ted-scraper - "Find small-business set-aside solicitations for IT services in Virginia posted since Monday." →
sam-gov-opportunities-scraper - "List the physical-therapy clinics in ZIP codes starting with 787 with phone numbers." →
us-healthcare-providers-npi-scraper - "Which software companies were incorporated in Manchester in the last 7 days, and who are their directors?" →
uk-companies-house-scraper(pass your Companies House key inapiKey) - "Give me 50 dental clinics in Monterrey with coordinates." →
mexico-business-directory-denue
Every Actor description and input field starts with "Use this when…", so agents pick the right tool and fill the input without extra prompting. Set maxResults in the prompt ("at most 100") to bound the cost.
From code instead of MCP
The same Actors are available through the Apify API and client libraries:
Each Actor's README has curl, Python and Node examples plus scheduling and webhook notes.
Legal and data
Hexadata Actors use official APIs or public portals, respect their terms, and exclude personal data unless you opt in (for example includeOfficers on Companies House or includeContacts on SAM.gov). Attribution to the source is included in every item (source).
Support
Open an issue on the relevant Actor's Issues tab on Apify, or here. Issues are answered within 24 hours; confirmed bugs are fixed within 48 hours.
