High Story MCP Server - Automate AI content campaigns and social media management.

Overview

AI-generated overview

High Story MCP server that lets an AI assistant create and run content campaigns, refine images and drafts, and publish social posts from chat.

What you can do
Create and run AI content campaigns through execute_campaign, which generates and executes campaign content on the connected High Story instance. Regenerate images and adjust visual prompts for social posts. Improve manual post drafts with AI assistance. Schedule or publish content to connected social platforms. All actions run against the user's High Story Cloud instance over a Supabase Edge Function endpoint.
When to use it
Use it when you manage social content through High Story and want to draft, refine, schedule and publish posts or campaigns from an AI chat client such as Claude Desktop instead of the High Story interface.
Requirements
Runs locally as an npm package (highstory-mcp), typically via npx, on a desktop client. Requires a High Story Cloud instance and two environment variables: HIGHSTORY_SSE_URL, the Supabase Edge Function URL, and HIGHSTORY_TOKEN, a personal Supabase JWT access token. Network access to that endpoint is needed.
Before you install
The server holds a personal access token in HIGHSTORY_TOKEN, which grants access to your High Story account; keep it out of shared configs. Its tools create and run campaigns and publish or schedule posts to social platforms, so content can go live publicly. Review generated campaigns, images and drafts before publishing.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Highstory Mcp in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.

Other MCP clients

Follow the launch instructions in the repository.

README

High Story MCP Server

This is the official Model Context Protocol server for High Story. It allows AI clients like Claude Desktop to execute social media campaigns, regenerate images, and manage your social content directly from the chat.

Installation

bash
npm install -g highstory-mcp

Configuration

The server requires a connection to your High Story Cloud instance. You need two environment variables:

  1. HIGHSTORY_SSE_URL: The URL of your Supabase Edge Function (e.g., https://xxxx.supabase.co/functions/v1/highstory-mcp-server)
  2. HIGHSTORY_TOKEN: Your personal access token (Supabase JWT).

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.

  • Reached in the last 30 days25 pts

Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.

  • Auth declared10 pts

Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.
