Overview

AI-generated overview

NDP gives an assistant music-rights tools: identify tracks by audio fingerprint, verify artists, read rights manifests and audit a registry.

What you can do
  • Identify tracks by perceptual fingerprint (ADNA) and check ownership or derivative verdicts
  • Verify artists, fetch artist passports and list an artist's tracks
  • Read rights manifests (NDT) and register new works
  • Check royalty balances and start checkout sessions
  • Snapshot epochs, verify Merkle inclusion proofs and read registry or system statistics
  • Inspect audience and superfan summaries, opt in, and trigger external workflows
When to use it
Useful when an assistant has to work with music rights data: matching an audio file to a registered track, confirming who owns or registered a work, reading royalty and manifest information, or querying the NormalDance registry.
Requirements
A remote endpoint or the npm package run locally with Node.js. An NDP API key is required, sent as the X-NDP-Token header (the README shows an Authorization Bearer header instead); keys are requested via Telegram. Local runs also need registry URL and token settings.
Before you install
The API key is a secret and the public endpoint is key-gated. Several tools write to the registry (registering tracks, minting subjects, opting in, starting checkout), so changes are not read-only. Checkout and royalty tools touch payments. The README's header name differs from the manifest's, so confirm which one the endpoint expects.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open NDP — Music Rights & Track Identification in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect X-NDP-Token credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via SSE. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.AENDYSTUDIO%2Fndp/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

README

NDP MCP Server

NormalDance Protocol (NDP) — open music rights & royalties protocol. This MCP server gives AI agents 24 tools (incl. the A7 §7.27 anchor circuit: get_epoch_anchor, verify_track_proof with offline-verified Merkle inclusion proofs) to verify artists, identify tracks by perceptual fingerprint (ADNA), read rights manifests (NDT), register works and audit the registry.

Audio file becomes a self-contained rights object: the manifest travels inside the file, the fingerprint survives re-encoding and remixes, and royalties cascade down the derivation chain (sample → track → remix, up to 10 levels).
