Social0 Mcp
io.github.Abhishek-B-RPublished by GitHub account Abhishek-B-Rv0.2.1Updated Oct 24, 2026
Post and schedule across 9 social platforms from Claude, Cursor, or ChatGPT.
Overview
Social0 MCP lets an AI assistant publish and schedule posts across nine social platforms, upload media, read analytics, and triage comments and DMs.
- What you can do
- Publish or schedule posts to connected platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Pinterest, Threads and Bluesky, and draft, edit or delete before going live, plus check per-platform publish status and get platform suggestions for a caption. Upload images and videos by URL, data or local file path. Read live analytics for a time window or a single post. List, reply to, like or hide comments on posts published through Social0. Read and answer DMs on networks that support them, currently X and Bluesky.
- When to use it
- Useful when you want to compose, schedule and publish social posts from an AI chat instead of a dashboard, or to check post performance and handle comments and DMs in the same conversation. The README suggests the separate social0 CLI when a terminal is available and this MCP package when the host only supports MCP connectors.
- Requirements
- Either the hosted remote endpoint with OAuth approval, or a local process via npx needing Node.js 20+ and a SOCIAL0_API_KEY environment variable holding an sk_live_ key. Social accounts must be connected to Social0 first. Network access to Social0 and the social platforms is required.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Social0 Mcp in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.
Other MCP clients
Follow the launch instructions in the repository.
README
Social0 MCP
Post to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Pinterest, Threads, and Bluesky from Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, and other AI apps — in plain English.
Prefer the social0 CLI when you have a terminal or agent shell (npx social0). Use this MCP package when the AI host only supports MCP connectors.

Remote URL (recommended — no npx)
Works with Claude.ai, ChatGPT, and any AI that accepts a remote MCP connector.
- Connect your social accounts
- Open Connectors / MCP settings in your AI app
- Add remote server URL:
- Click Connect and approve Social0 (OAuth)
- Ask: “Show my connected Social0 accounts”
No Node.js, no API key in config.
Cursor (remote)
If your Cursor build doesn’t support remote/OAuth MCP yet, use local npx below.
Local npx (API key)
Needs Node.js 20+ and a sk_live_ key from API keys.
Unscoped
npx -y social0-mcpstill works as a deprecated alias.
Try saying
- “Show my connected Social0 accounts”
- “Post this to LinkedIn and X”
- “Schedule this for tomorrow at 9am UTC on Instagram and TikTok”
- “Upload this image from a URL and publish it everywhere”
- “How did my posts do over the last month?”
- “Any comments I haven’t answered yet?”
- “Reply to that Bluesky comment with a thank you”
Hosted vs local
What you can do
- Publish or schedule to any connected platforms
- Upload images and videos
- Draft, edit, and delete before going live
- Check per-platform publish status
- Get suggestions for which platforms fit a caption
- Read live metrics for a window or a single post (
get_analytics,get_post_analytics) - Triage comments on posts you published, and reply, like, or hide them
(
list_inbox_comments,reply_to_comment,moderate_comment) - Read and answer DMs on networks that support them — X and Bluesky today
(
list_inbox_dms,get_inbox_dm_thread,reply_to_dm)
Analytics and inbox read from each network at request time and cover posts published through Social0 (plus DMs on the connected account) — they are not a full social-listening feed. Replies and DMs go out publicly, so confirm the wording with the user before sending.

Score
50% of the applicable checks met
How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
- Reached in the last 30 days25 pts
Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.
- Auth declared10 pts
Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.
