Overview

AI-generated overview

AdsCrawl is a remote MCP endpoint giving AI assistants cloud browser control, web extraction, screenshots and remote CDP access.

What you can do
  • Drive a cloud-hosted browser remotely through CDP for page interaction and automation.
  • Extract content from web pages for use by the assistant.
  • Capture screenshots of pages as seen by the cloud browser.
When to use it
Useful when an assistant needs to browse or interact with live web pages, pull structured content from them, or take screenshots without running a browser locally. Suited to agent workflows that rely on a hosted browser rather than the user's own machine.
Requirements
A remote MCP connection to the AdsCrawl endpoint over streamable HTTP. An AdsCrawl account and API key from the dashboard, sent in the x-api-key header. Network access to the service.
Before you install
The API key in the x-api-key header is a secret that grants access to your AdsCrawl account; keep it out of logs and shared configs. Pages visited and content extracted are processed by a third-party cloud service, so avoid sending sensitive data through it.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open AdsCrawl in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect x-api-key credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.AdsCrawl%2Fads-crawl/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

This server asks for a credential such as an API key, so SourceWeft could not read its tools without one and has not indexed them.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
