Overview

AI-generated overview

A remote MCP server that lets an assistant screen names against sanctions lists, check PEP status, and look up legal entities in GLEIF.

What you can do
Screen a person or entity against global sanctions lists (OFAC SDN, UK OFSI, EU Consolidated, UN Consolidated) and get matches with confidence scores. Check whether a person is a Politically Exposed Person using 11.7K+ Wikidata PEP records. Search legal entities by name in the GLEIF database and get LEI, legal name and jurisdiction.
When to use it
Useful for compliance, onboarding and due-diligence checks where an assistant needs quick sanctions, PEP or legal-entity lookups before a decision or review.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no packages, environment variables or headers are declared. No authentication is declared, and network access to the hosted endpoint is required.
Before you install
Screening results are matches with confidence scores, not definitive determinations, and should be verified before any compliance decision. Queries send names of people or entities to a third-party hosted service.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Compliance Engine in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.Alex-Dev-Web-C-DE%2Fcompliance-engine-mcp/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows
