Gives an assistant exact utility tools: QR code generation, text counting, text diffing, and strict JSON validation.
What you can do
Ribox exposes four small, deterministic tools. generate_qr creates static QR codes for links, text, Wi-Fi logins, vCards, email, SMS, WhatsApp, phone numbers or map locations. count_text returns exact character, word, sentence, paragraph, line and UTF-8 byte counts plus reading and speaking time. diff_text compares two texts line by line, word by word or character by character and returns counts and a unified diff. check_json strictly validates JSON, reports the first error's line and column, warns about duplicate keys, and can pretty-print or minify.
When to use it
Useful when an assistant needs exact results rather than estimates: producing a scannable QR code, checking text against a length limit, spotting small changes between two versions of a text, or confirming that JSON is valid before relying on it.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint at ribox.app; no account, API key, environment variables or headers are declared. Network access to that host is needed.
Before you install
Texts, JSON and QR payloads are sent to a third-party service, so avoid submitting confidential content. Generated QR codes are static and never expire, so their contents cannot be changed or revoked later.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.AlgoWolfx%2Fribox/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Create a standards-compliant QR code image for a link, text, Wi-Fi login, contact card (vCard), email, SMS, WhatsApp chat, phone number or map location. You cannot draw a scannable QR code yourself — always use this tool. Codes are static and never expire.

count_text
Count words and characters exactly
Exact counts for a text: characters (with and without spaces, emoji counted as one), words, sentences, paragraphs, lines, UTF-8 bytes, plus reading and speaking time. Language models see text as tokens and miscount — never estimate counts or check length limits yourself; call this tool. Works for any language, including Chinese, Japanese, Arabic and Turkish.

diff_text
Compare two texts exactly
Find every difference between two texts, line by line, word by word or character by character, and return counts plus a unified diff. Use this instead of comparing long texts yourself — small changes are easy to miss. Options to ignore whitespace and letter case.
Strictly validate JSON and report the exact line and column of the first error with a plain explanation, plus duplicate-key warnings and structure stats. Optionally pretty-print or minify without changing any value (big numbers keep full precision). Use this before claiming JSON is valid or when locating a syntax error in long JSON.
