Overview

AI-generated overview

Remote MCP server for Arsaze, an AI video editor, letting an assistant edit timelines, captions, color, audio and generate media inside a project.

What you can do
List and create projects, search the asset library and upload assets to a project timeline, add, trim, split and ripple-delete clips, apply transitions and render, apply LUTs, color wheels, RGB curves, HSL secondary and cinematic looks, generate voiceovers, auto-ducking, loudness normalization and sound effects, generate video, avatar video, voice clones, thumbnails, images, music and sound effects, auto-generate and manage caption sets, create shareable review links, comment threads and director briefs. Tool calls play back live in the editor.
When to use it
Useful when you want an assistant to operate a real video editing timeline rather than describe edits in chat, for example assembling cuts, grading, captioning, generating media or preparing review links inside an Arsaze project.
Requirements
A remote endpoint over Streamable HTTP. Sign-in to an Arsaze account via OAuth 2.1 with PKCE and authorization of the connecting client on first use; no API keys. A client that supports remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP with OAuth 2.1.
Before you install
The server can change project data: it creates projects, uploads assets, edits and deletes timeline clips, renders, generates media and creates shareable review links. Generation features may consume account resources or credits; check Arsaze's terms. Access is granted through OAuth sign-in to your Arsaze account.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Arsaze Mcp in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.AnrosPrac%2Farsaze-mcp/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

README

Arsaze MCP Server

Arsaze is an AI video editor for agents and humans — a real timeline, not a chat box. The product lives at arsaze.com (what is Arsaze?). This repo is the public connector listing for Arsaze's remote MCP server: it documents how to connect, not the platform's source code (which is closed-source).

Connect an MCP-capable client to an Arsaze project and every tool call the agent makes plays back live in the editor — timeline edits, color grades, generation, renders — as it happens. Full manual editing (timeline, trim modes, color wheels, keyframes) is always available too; the agent is an operator you can hand the controls to, not a requirement.

Connect

  • Endpoint: https://api.arsaze.com/mcp
  • Transport: Streamable HTTP
  • Auth: OAuth 2.1 with PKCE — you'll be prompted to sign in to your Arsaze account and authorize the connecting client on first use. No API keys to copy around.
  • Docs: https://www.arsaze.com/docs/mcp

Supported clients today

Claude, ChatGPT, and Grok are supported as MCP clients:

  • Claude: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector
  • ChatGPT: add as a custom MCP plugin using the server URL
  • Grok: grok.com/connectors → New Connector → Custom

Any other client that supports remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP with OAuth 2.1 can connect using the endpoint above — the server advertises its OAuth metadata per the standard MCP discovery flow.

What you can do with it

  • Projects & assets — list/create projects, search the asset library, upload
  • Timeline editing — add/trim/split/ripple-delete clips, transitions, render
  • Color & effects — LUTs, color wheels, RGB curves, HSL secondary, cinematic looks

  • Generation — video, avatar video, voice cloning, thumbnails, image/music/SFX
  • Captions — auto-generate and manage caption sets
  • Review — shareable review links, comment threads, director briefs

Full tool list is discoverable via the MCP tools/list method once connected.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
