Overview

AI-generated overview

Apify-hosted MCP server that searches live Workday job postings across thousands of employer career sites by keyword, location and posting date.

What you can do
  • Search live Workday job postings across thousands of employer career sites with one keyword, location, work type and posting-date filters
  • Retrieve job rows with title, company, location, remote flag, posting date, requisition number and link, newest first
  • Optionally pull full details such as description text and HTML, exact date, employment type, apply link and all locations
  • Check pasted job links to see whether each posting is still open or closed
  • Return results as structured rows for export to JSON, CSV or Excel
When to use it
Useful for job seekers or job boards wanting a daily feed of new postings by title and country, for recruiters and sourcing teams checking who is hiring for a role, and for sales or market research that treats hiring activity as a buying signal. Also handy for data teams and agents that want one stable feed of Workday jobs.
Requirements
A remote MCP endpoint at mcp.apify.com with OAuth authentication; the Authorization header carries an Apify API token as a Bearer value. An Apify account is required, and runs are billed to that account. No Workday login or API key is needed.
Before you install
Runs are paid per delivered job row (higher with full details), so costs scale with the number of jobs and the maxJobs setting; the Apify token in the Authorization header is a secret that bills to your account. The server reads public job postings, and you are responsible for complying with each site's terms and applicable privacy laws.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Workday Jobs Scraper & API - All Companies, Last 24 Hours in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.AnshumanAtrey%2Fworkday-job-search/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Other MCP clients

Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

README

Workday Jobs Scraper & API - All Companies, Last 24 Hours

Workday jobs scraper and API: type one job title and search every company on Workday (myworkdayjobs.com) at once, live, with no list of companies needed. Get each job's title, company, location, remote flag, posting date and link, newest first. Turn on full details for the description, exact posting date, full-time or part-time, the requisition number, the apply link and every location.

Use it as a Workday jobs API, a myworkdayjobs scraper or a daily job feed from the Apify Console, the Apify API, Python, JavaScript, n8n, Make or an AI agent over MCP, and export JSON, CSV or Excel. It is the site:myworkdayjobs.com Google dork done at the source: it reads the public job list each career site shows its visitors, with no login, no proxy and no Workday API key. Available as an Apify Actor. $1.50 per 1,000 jobs ($0.0015 a job), $1.80 per 1,000 with full details, no start fee, and Apify's free $5 monthly credit covers about 3,300 jobs.

What does it do?

  • Searches 2,207 career sites of 1,688 employers at once. 659,000+ open jobs, at employers such as Walmart, CVS Health, Target, NVIDIA, Lowe's, Citi, Salesforce, Accenture, Johnson & Johnson and Northrop Grumman.
  • One keyword is enough. Type a job title and press Start. Leave the form empty for the newest jobs of every kind.
  • No company list. You do not need to know who is hiring: one search covers every employer, including companies you have never heard of.
  • Newest first, read live. Every job comes from Workday at the moment of your run, not from a stored copy.
  • Filters that take what people type. Germany, EMEA, Remote, last 24 hours, or a pasted Google dork such as site:myworkdayjobs.com intext:frontend.
  • Checks job links. Paste links and each comes back open or closed.

How is it different from other Workday scrapers?

  • Search every employer with one keyword. Most Workday actors need the company name or career-site link first and return that company's jobs. Here a job title is enough, and the employers come to you.
  • Live, not a database. It asks Workday at run time, so a job it returns was listed when you ran it.
  • Multi-location jobs are found by place. Workday's list says only "2 Locations". With a place filter, the actor opens those jobs and reads every location before deciding.
  • A failed read costs nothing. You pay per delivered row, and a row whose details could not be read is charged as a plain job.

When should I use it?

  • Job seekers and job boards: a daily feed of new jobs by title and country across thousands of large employers.
  • Recruiters and sourcing teams: see who is hiring for a role right now, anywhere on Workday.
  • Sales and market research: spot companies hiring for a function, by country and date, as a buying signal.
  • Data teams and AI agents: one clean, stable feed of Workday jobs through the API or MCP.

How much does it cost to scrape Workday jobs?

Workday Jobs Scraper costs $1.50 per 1,000 jobs, or $1.80 per 1,000 with full details, on Apify's Free and Starter plans. You pay per event: platform usage is included, and there is no start fee or monthly fee.

EventPriceWhen it is charged
Job$0.0015One saved job, and one checked job link that is closed, not found, or open with full details off
Job with details$0.0018One saved job, or one open checked link, with full details on

The Store header for Workday Jobs Scraper says "from $1.20 / 1,000 jobs" because Apify shows the cheapest of its Store discount tiers there: the GOLD price. What you pay depends on your Apify plan: Free and Starter (FREE and BRONZE tiers) pay the base prices in the table above; Scale (SILVER) pays 10% less, $0.00135 a job and $0.00162 with details; Business and enterprise plans (GOLD and above) pay 20% less, $0.0012 and $0.00144.

Job (Free and Starter price)Cost
100 newest jobs$0.15
100 jobs with full details$0.18
1,000 jobs$1.50
10,000 jobs with full details$18.00

Apify's free plan gives $5 of credit every month: about 3,300 jobs ($5 / $0.0015), or about 2,700 with full details. Number of jobs (maxJobs) sets the most a run can cost, and a run stops at its spending limit with a message saying so.

How does the price compare with other Workday scrapers?

Actors on the Apify Store with Workday in their name and 15 or more users in the last 30 days, found by searching "workday", "workday jobs" and "workday scraper" on 2026-10-30, ordered by users. Free-plan prices from each listing.

Where others are cheaper: johnvc, miladamirzadeh and shahidirfan cost less per job when you already have the career-site links. Where others do more: glitchbound reads pay from the posting text and covers 23 more career systems, and fantastic-jobs adds AI fields and LinkedIn company data.

Which inputs does it take?

Nothing is required. Type a job title and press Start, or press Start with the form empty.

FieldWhat it does
Job titles to find (searchTerms)One per line. A job matches when its title has every word: frontend also finds Front-End. A pasted Google dork or Workday link works too
Where the job is (location)A city, state, country or region: London, United States, EMEA, LatAm. Worldwide finds jobs open everywhere, and Remote asks for remote jobs
Remote or onsite (workType)remote, hybrid or onsite, read from the title and location
Posted in the last (postedWithin)24 hours, 3 days, 7 days, 30 days, any time, or your own period such as 48 hours
Number of jobs (maxJobs)How many, newest first: 100 by default, 0 for every match
Full details (includeDetails)Adds the description as text and HTML, exact date, job type, requisition number, apply link and every location
Leave out words (excludeTerms)Drops jobs whose title has these words, such as senior or intern
Match descriptions (searchDescriptions)Finds your words in the description too, not only the title
Only these companies (companies)A name (NVIDIA), the name in the address (nvidia) or a career-site link. Empty searches everyone
Job links to check (jobUrls)Paste job links to check whether they are still open, instead of searching

Example input:

json
{  "searchTerms": ["software engineer"],  "location": ["United States", "Germany"],  "postedWithin": "7 days",  "maxJobs": 100}

What does the output look like?

One row per job, newest first. These rows are from a run on 2026-10-30, searching NVIDIA for the words security engineer:

Job title (title)Company name (company)Main location (location)Posted on (postedAt)Still open? (status)
Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer - EDA ClustersNVIDIA5 Locations2026-10-29open
Distinguished Engineer, Security Architecture - DGX CloudNVIDIAUS, WA, Remote2026-10-28open
Cyber Security EngineerNVIDIA4 Locations2026-10-27open

One row as JSON:

json
{  "title": "Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer - EDA Clusters",  "company": "NVIDIA",  "location": "5 Locations",  "otherLocations": [],  "workType": null,  "employmentType": null,  "postedAt": "2026-10-29",  "expiresAt": null,  "jobUrl": "https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite/job/US-CA-Remote/Senior-Infrastructure-Security-Engineer---EDA-Clusters_JR2028279",  "applyUrl": "https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite/job/US-CA-Remote/Senior-Infrastructure-Security-Engineer---EDA-Clusters_JR2028279",  "status": "open",  "platform": "workday",  "companySlug": "nvidia/wd5/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite",  "jobId": "US-CA-Remote/Senior-Infrastructure-Security-Engineer---EDA-Clusters_JR2028279",  "checkedAt": "2026-10-30T13:51:19+00:00"}

Full details fill employmentType, otherLocations and expiresAt (when the company set one) and add description, descriptionHtml, reference (the requisition number), country and countryCode. A run also writes an OUTPUT record: how many career sites were read, how many jobs matched and were saved, and any notes on how your input was read.

How fast is it?

  • Empty form: seconds. It stops as soon as it holds your number of jobs from today, because nothing can be newer: 100 jobs in 8 seconds (run Lx3IaaIRiQebWgJ5x, 2026-10-30).
  • A keyword across every employer: about 6 minutes. A match can sit on any career site, so a keyword search reads every one, and a run on Apify gets about 8 to 9 answers a second from Workday: 343 seconds for all 2,207 sites at the default 2 GB of memory (run Of2PwwjAJ4c0KNKyF, 2026-10-30).
  • A shorter run limit returns what it has. A run limited to 5 minutes stops just before the limit, saves the newest matches from the sites read so far and says so in its message: 1,999 of 2,207 sites in 271 seconds, 100 jobs saved (run rm1PLFfreWWe2zhCP, build 1.0.8, 2026-11-03). The default limit is 30 minutes.
  • Named companies or job links: seconds, because only those career sites are read (6 seconds for the NVIDIA search above, run Akotlc7P6DcNu5SoQ).

Common questions

Does it work on the free Apify plan?

Workday Jobs Scraper works on the free Apify plan, whose $5 of monthly credit covers about 3,300 jobs at $1.50 per 1,000, or about 2,700 with full details. You pay only per delivered row: platform usage is included and there is no start fee.

How often should I run it?

Run Workday Jobs Scraper once a day, with Posted in the last (postedWithin) set to 24 hours. Workday gives the day a job was posted, not the time, so 24 hours keeps the jobs dated today and yesterday: two daily runs overlap instead of leaving a gap, and jobUrl tells the repeats apart. Set it up under Schedules in Apify Console.

Which fields come back?

Every row from Workday Jobs Scraper carries title, company, location, workType (read from the title and location, or Workday's own field with details on), postedAt, jobUrl, applyUrl, status, platform, companySlug, jobId and checkedAt. Full details fill employmentType, otherLocations and expiresAt and add description, descriptionHtml, reference (the requisition number), country and countryCode. Workday has no pay or department field, so neither comes back, and city and region stay empty because Workday writes each place as one line, such as US, CA, Santa Clara.

How do I search one company?

To search one company on Workday, type it into Only these companies (companies): a name (NVIDIA), the name in its Workday address (nvidia) or its career-site link. Leave the job titles empty and set Number of jobs (maxJobs) to 0 for all its open jobs, newest first, up to Workday's 2,000 per career site. Only that company's sites are read: a keyword search of NVIDIA took 6 seconds (run Akotlc7P6DcNu5SoQ), and every job of a big employer takes longer, because Workday sends 20 jobs a page.

How do I check a list of job links?

To check a list of Workday job links, paste them into Job links to check (jobUrls), one per line. Each link comes back as one row whose status is open (with the job), closed, or not found when that career site does not exist. Each is one Job ($0.0015), or one Job with details ($0.0018) when it is open and Full details is on. A link that could not be checked is counted in the run summary and not charged.

Am I charged for closed jobs?

Workday Jobs Scraper charges for a closed job only when you paste its link: a search returns open jobs only, and a pasted link that turns out closed or not found is one Job row, because it was checked and answered.

How does it find every company?

Workday Jobs Scraper carries its own list of career sites, because Workday has no public list of them. The Wayback Machine lists archived pages under myworkdayjobs.com, and public job lists on GitHub link the rest, which gave 3,814 career sites; 2,207 still answer. That is the site:myworkdayjobs.com idea run on an archive instead of a search engine. To search a company that is not on the list, paste its career-site link into Only these companies.

Why do some big employers show exactly 2,000 jobs?

Workday's API reports and pages at most 2,000 jobs per career site. Newest come first, so the 2,000 are the most recent. A keyword narrows the list on Workday's side, so older matching jobs are still found.

Does it need a login or an API key?

Workday Jobs Scraper needs no login, no Workday account, no proxy and no Workday API key. It reads the public job list each career site shows any visitor, the same Workday API the career page itself calls. You need only an Apify account, and its API token when you call it from code.

How do I call it from the Apify API?

To call Workday Jobs Scraper from the Apify API, start a run with one POST and your Apify token, then read the rows once it has finished:

bash
curl -X POST "https://api.apify.com/v2/actors/anshumanatrey~workday-job-search/runs" \ -H "Authorization: Bearer <YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN>" -H "Content-Type: application/json" \ -d '{"searchTerms": ["software engineer"], "maxJobs": 100}'

When GET https://api.apify.com/v2/actor-runs/<run id> says SUCCEEDED, read the rows as CSV (or format=json, format=xlsx):

bash
curl "https://api.apify.com/v2/datasets/<defaultDatasetId>/items?format=csv" \ -H "Authorization: Bearer <YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN>"

The one-call endpoint run-sync-get-dataset-items waits at most 5 minutes: enough for the empty form, named companies and job links, which take seconds, but not for a keyword across every employer, which takes about 6 minutes.

How do I run it from Python?

To run Workday Jobs Scraper from Python, use the Apify client (pip install apify-client) and your Apify token. call() waits until the run has finished:

python
from apify_client import ApifyClient
client = ApifyClient("<YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN>")run = client.actor("anshumanatrey/workday-job-search").call(run_input={"searchTerms": ["software engineer"]})for row in client.dataset(run.default_dataset_id).iterate_items():  # apify-client 3+; on 2.x use run["defaultDatasetId"]    print(row["title"], row["company"], row["location"], row["jobUrl"])

How do I run it from JavaScript?

To run Workday Jobs Scraper from JavaScript, use the Apify client for Node.js (npm install apify-client) and your Apify token. call() waits until the run has finished:

js
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
const client = new ApifyClient({ token: '<YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN>' });const run = await client.actor('anshumanatrey/workday-job-search').call({ searchTerms: ['software engineer'] });const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();for (const job of items) console.log(job.title, job.company, job.location, job.jobUrl);

How do I use it in n8n or Make?

In n8n, add the Apify node, pick Run Actor with anshumanatrey/workday-job-search, your input and Wait for finish on, then Get Dataset Items with the run's defaultDatasetId. In Make, use the Apify modules Run an Actor and Get Dataset Items; Make cuts long synchronous runs, so for a keyword search, which takes minutes, Apify's Make guide uses the Watch Actor Runs trigger instead.

Can an AI agent use it as an MCP tool?

An AI agent can use Workday Jobs Scraper as an MCP tool: connect any MCP client (Claude, Cursor, VS Code) to the Apify MCP server with https://mcp.apify.com?tools=anshumanatrey/workday-job-search and the agent gets this actor as a tool, with get-actor-run and get-dataset-items to read the rows. With the server's default tools, an agent can also find it through search-actors and run it with call-actor, which waits at most 45 seconds: for a keyword search, which takes minutes, the agent reads the rows once get-actor-run says SUCCEEDED.

Is it legal to use?

Workday Jobs Scraper reads only public job postings, the ones each career site shows any visitor. You are responsible for how you use the data, including each site's terms and the privacy laws that apply to you.

Limitations

  • Workday's job list has no pay, department or remote field. Remote and hybrid are read from the title and location, and pay is not extracted.
  • Dates in the list are relative and stop at 30 days: an older job has no date unless you turn on full details.
  • Workday reports at most 2,000 jobs per career site, and a keyword search reads the 100 best matches per site unless Number of jobs is 0.
  • A keyword across every employer takes minutes, about 6 for all 2,207 career sites. A run limit shorter than that returns the newest matches from the sites read so far, and the run message says so.
  • Company names: Workday publishes only the name in the address, so the big employers are written by hand and the rest are read from that name. One employer can have several career sites.
  • The list of career sites was built on 2026-10-30. A company that joined later is searched only when you name it.

Who maintains it?

Built and maintained by Anshuman Atrey (@AnshumanAtrey), who publishes a portfolio of data and OSINT actors on Apify Store. For a feature request or a bug, message LinkedIn (fastest), open an issue on the GitHub repo, or write through atrey.dev.
