Image Resize API
io.github.Br0ski777Published by GitHub account Br0ski777v1.1.0Updated Oct 24, 2026
Resize images from URL — PNG, JPEG, WebP output. x402 micropayment.
Overview
Remote MCP endpoint that resizes images fetched from a URL and converts them to PNG, JPEG or WebP, billed per call via x402 USDC micropayments.
- What you can do
- Resize an image from a URL to a target width and/or height, keeping aspect ratio when only one dimension is given
- Convert the output to PNG, JPEG or WebP
- Return the resized image as base64 with metadata such as original and new dimensions, format and file size
- When to use it
- Useful for making thumbnails, web-optimized images, social media or email-sized images, and light batch resizing when the assistant only has an image URL and no local image tooling. Not intended for OCR, QR generation or screenshots.
- Requirements
- A remote MCP endpoint reached over SSE; no API key or signup. Payment is required per call through the x402 protocol in USDC on Base L2, so an x402-capable client with a funded wallet is needed. Network access to the image URL and the service is required.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Image Resize API in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via SSE. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.Br0ski777%2Fimage-resize/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.Other MCP clients
Add this to your client's mcpServers config.

Score
50% of the applicable checks met
How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
- Reached in the last 30 daysRequired25 pts
Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.
- Auth declaredRequired10 pts
Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.
