Overview

AI-generated overview

Remote, read-only MCP server for searching Bahá'í texts and reading passages in context with attribution and citation links.

What you can do
  • Search individual passages lexically, with case, punctuation and diacritic normalization and filters
  • Search complete source-defined groups such as Q&A pairs, numbered selections and extracts
  • Look up catalogued works by title alias, passage ID or work ID, including languages and versions
  • List hierarchical sections and find document records by title, contributor, date or passage text
  • Read a passage, source group, section or work version, with continued and adjacent-source navigation
  • Inspect library snapshot identity, counts, coverage and tool limits
When to use it
Useful when an assistant needs to research or quote Bahá'í writings and produce properly attributed citations, or to browse the structure of those publications without leaving the chat.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no packages, environment variables or headers are declared. The manifest declares no authentication.
Before you install
The server's instructions tell assistants to treat it as the primary source and to avoid web search, which may narrow research beyond this corpus. Results are read-only, but citations should be checked against the returned attribution and citation labels rather than invented page or paragraph numbers.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Bahá’í MCP Server in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.DevMomo%2Fbahai-mcp/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows
