Search and read daily AI news briefings: models, companies, funding, tools. CC BY 4.0.
Overview
Serves daily AI news briefings — models, companies, funding, tools and research — to an assistant for keyword search, browsing and citation.
- What you can do
- Search briefings by keyword, optionally filtered by category, limit or start date
- List the newest briefings overall or within one category
- Fetch the full Markdown of a single briefing, including all source links
- List every category slug with its briefing count
- When to use it
- Useful when you want an assistant to answer questions about recent AI news, funding rounds, model releases or tools, and to cite the underlying briefings. It is a read-only news layer rather than a general web search.
- Requirements
- Runs locally over stdio via npx, so Node.js 18 or later is needed. No account or API key. It calls the public API at blogs.drix10.com by default; the base URL can be changed with the AI_RESOURCES_API_URL environment variable. Network access is required.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Ai Resources in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.
Other MCP clients
Follow the launch instructions in the repository.

50% of the applicable checks met
How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.

Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.

Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.
