Requirements

Before you install
The server needs your wallet private key, which can authorize on-chain payments; never commit it or run the server on a public host with it set. Most tools cost USDC per call, capped per call by STACKAPPS_MAX_USD_PER_CALL (default $0.59). It writes files such as icon sets, splash screens and invoice PDFs, and sends images, text and audio to third-party services. Install only from a verified release URL and version.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Stackapps Suite Mcp in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.

One MCP server for the whole StackApps tool suite. Pay per call in USDC on Base mainnet via x402 — no account, no API key, no signup. Member apps (Imagcon, StackBill, Dicta-Notes) contribute tools; one install covers the suite.

Install

The package is self-hosted (not on PyPI). Install directly from the release wheel documented in the live blueprint:

Payment safety

The server refuses to sign any payment challenge that does not pay the StackApps suite wallet, or that exceeds the per-call cap ($0.59 USDC by default; override with STACKAPPS_MAX_USD_PER_CALL). A compromised or spoofed endpoint cannot redirect or inflate payments. Payments settle on-chain via EIP-3009 — the gas is sponsored; your wallet needs only USDC.

Never commit your wallet key, and never run this server on a public host with WALLET_PRIVATE_KEY set. The hosted endpoint at mcp.stackapps.app serves discovery metadata only.
