Literature search, GB/T 7714/APA citations and BibTeX via Crossref, OpenAlex, Semantic Scholar.
Overview
Searches academic literature across Crossref, OpenAlex and Semantic Scholar and formats citations in GB/T 7714, APA or BibTeX, with no API key.
- What you can do
- Search scholarly works by keyword across three sources, merged and deduplicated by DOI, with citation counts and filters for limit, year range and sort order
- Format a citation for a DOI in GB/T 7714, GB/T 7714 numeric, APA or BibTeX
- Generate BibTeX entries in batch for a list of DOIs and report which ones failed
- Find related works for a given DOI through OpenAlex
- When to use it
- Useful when writing papers or reports that need literature searches, reference lists in Chinese or APA style, or BibTeX files for a reference manager, without signing up for a separate bibliographic API.
- Requirements
- Runs locally via npx, so Node.js 20 or newer is needed. No API key or account is required. Network access to Crossref, OpenAlex and Semantic Scholar is needed.

Score
50% of the applicable checks met
How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
- Reached in the last 30 days25 pts
Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.
- Auth declared10 pts
Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.
