Overview

AI-generated overview

Lets an assistant trade on GDEX across spot, perpetuals and HyperLiquid markets on Solana, EVM and other chains.

What it does
GDEX Trading is a local MCP server that connects an assistant to the GDEX trading platform (gdex.pro). It covers spot and perpetual futures trading and HyperLiquid markets across Solana, EVM and other chains. The server authenticates itself with a GDEX API key at startup, so the assistant can act on the account without a separate login step. No tool list is published in the manifest.
When to use it
Add it when you want an assistant to place or manage trades on GDEX, including perpetuals and HyperLiquid positions, rather than only reading market data. It suits users who already hold a GDEX account and are comfortable letting an agent act on it.
Requirements
Runs as a local process on a desktop machine via the npm package @gemachdao/gdex-mcp-server (stdio transport), so Node.js is needed. A GDEX API key must be supplied in the GDEX_API_KEY environment variable; the server authenticates with it automatically on startup. The GDEX_API_URL variable can override the default API base URL. Network access to the GDEX API is required.
Before you install
The GDEX_API_KEY secret grants trading access to the account and is read automatically at startup, so store it carefully and use a key scoped to what you intend. The server can place trades and manage positions, which risks real money and irreversible losses; review any order before it is executed. The GDEX_API_URL override can redirect traffic to a different endpoint, so only change it if you trust the target.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open GDEX Trading in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.

Other MCP clients
