MCP server for Pylon customer support platform

Overview

AI-generated overview

Local MCP server for the Pylon customer support platform, letting an assistant read and manage accounts, contacts, issues, tags and teams.

What you can do
  • Read organization details and list, get or search accounts and contacts
  • Create, update and delete accounts and contacts
  • List, get, search, create, update and delete issues, snooze issues, and manage issue followers
  • Redact messages on an issue
  • List, get, create, update and delete tags
  • List, get, create and update teams
When to use it
Useful when you work in Pylon for customer support and want an assistant to look up accounts, contacts or tickets and make routine changes without switching to the dashboard.
Requirements
Runs locally as a Node.js process (Node.js 24+), built from source with pnpm. Needs a Pylon API token in the PYLON_API_TOKEN environment variable, which only Admin users can create in the Pylon dashboard.
Before you install
The token grants Admin-level access to your Pylon workspace. Many tools write: they create, update and delete accounts, contacts, issues, tags and teams, and redact messages, so changes can be destructive or hard to undo. Keep the token out of shared configuration files.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Pylon Mcp in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.

Other MCP clients

Follow the launch instructions in the repository.

Score

50% of the applicable checks met

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.

  • Reached in the last 30 days25 pts

Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.

  • Auth declared10 pts

Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.
