Remote MCP server giving assistants sourced guides, deadline calculations and service details for appealing US Medicare Advantage denials.
What you can do
List and read Claim Back's guides on appealing a Medicare Advantage denial, each with sources such as federal regulations, Medicare.gov and CMS.
Calculate plan reconsideration deadlines from a denial notice date, or fast-appeal deadlines from a care end date.
Explain Claim Back's paid appeal services, their fixed prices and where to upload a denial letter.
When to use it
Useful when a user in the US asks how to appeal a Medicare Advantage denial, needs the appeal or fast-appeal deadline worked out, or wants to know what help is available and what it costs.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no package, account, API key or environment variable is declared.
Before you install
The service tool describes paid, fixed-price appeal services and a letter upload link, so answers may steer users toward a commercial offering. Deadline results are calendar arithmetic based on dates the user supplies and are not legal advice; verify against the official notice and sources.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.Keith-CY%2Fclaimback/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

appeal_deadline
Work out an appeal deadline
Calendar arithmetic for Medicare Advantage appeal deadlines. Give notice_date (the date printed on the plan’s denial notice) for the plan reconsideration deadline: 65 days from that date (the rule is 60 days from receipt, presumed 5 days after the date). Or give care_end_date (the date covered skilled nursing, home health or outpatient rehab care ends, on the Notice of Medicare Non-Coverage) for the fast appeal: by noon the day before. The notice’s own instructions come first.
Parametersnotice_datecare_end_date
claim_back_services
Claim Back’s services and prices
How Claim Back helps with a Medicare Advantage appeal and what it costs: a free check of the denial letter, then two fixed-price services (we handle it for you, paid only if the decision is reversed; or we prepare it and you send it). Returns the link where the user uploads their letter. Use it when the user wants help with an appeal or asks about Claim Back.
Takes no parameters.
