Read-only MCP server exposing Veqen's public AI model price book to look up rates, compare models and estimate workload costs in USD.
What you can do
Look up rates for a single model, including per-million-token input, output, cache read/write and audio rates, batch, priority and long-context tiers, and per-unit rates for image, video, speech, transcription, rerank and OCR models.
Compare the cost of the same call across several models, per call and per month.
List current models in the price book, cheapest first, filtered by provider or kind.
Simulate a month of calls across a mix of models, with totals, growth projections, rankings against other models of the same kind, the same model on other hosts, and cheaper alternatives from the same provider.
When to use it
Useful when choosing between AI models or providers on cost, or when estimating what a planned or existing workload would cost at list prices before committing to a provider.
Requirements
Remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no account, API key or environment variables are declared. Network access to the endpoint is required.
Before you install
Figures are list prices in USD from a third-party price book and may not reflect negotiated, discounted or actual billed amounts; verify against the provider before making spending decisions. All four tools are described as read-only.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.Keyveve%2Fveqen-pricing/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Rates for one model of any kind. Token rates are USD per million tokens: input (in), output (out), cache read (cr), cache write (cw, cw1h) and audio (ain, aout), with batch, priority and long-context tiers. Models billed per image, second, character, query or page have a unit rate (unit), and may have size, quality or resolution variants (v:...).

compare_models
Compare models on cost
Cost of the same call on several models, per call and per month: tokens for text, embedding and realtime models, units (images, seconds, characters, queries or pages) for the rest.
Current models in the price book, cheapest first, for one provider or one kind: text, embedding, realtime, image, video, speech, transcription, rerank or ocr.

simulate_workload
Simulate a workload
A month of calls across any mix of models, at list prices: each line's cost per call and per month, the total, a projection with monthly growth, where each line ranks among every current model of its kind, the same model on other hosts, and cheaper models from the same provider. Usage is per call.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
