Read-only access to AIamond's open record of how often financial news sources' tone matched later price moves, compared with chance.
What you can do
Look up a financial news source's track record: hit rate at 1, 3 and 7 days, chance baseline, 95% interval and a verdict
Check whether a source is better than chance, not distinguishable, worse, or has too few data
Retrieve the dataset version, method with its registered SHA-256, computation time, licence and download links for correct citation
When to use it
Useful when you want to check or cite how reliable a financial news source's tone has been against later price moves, or to quote AIamond's published figures with proper version and licence details.
Requirements
Remote streamable HTTP endpoint at api.aiamond.com; no packages, environment variables or headers declared. Network access to that endpoint is needed.
Before you install
The server states it makes no forecasts; hit rates are not returns and verdicts should be quoted as given with the number of checks. Tool results include a disclosure and links that the server asks to be shown to the user. Read-only, CC BY 4.0 data.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.Kipperlenny%2Faiamond-open-record/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
How often was a news source right, against chance?
Hit rate of a financial news source (how often its articles' tone matched the later price move at 1, 3 and 7 days, measured from the first tradable price), next to chance for the same mix of calls, with a 95 % interval and a verdict (better than chance / not distinguishable / worse / too few data). Without 'source' it returns every source. Descriptive only: not a return, not a forecast, not a recommendation. Always show the user the disclosure and the links.
