Overview

AI-generated overview

Remote MCP server for Japan travel and geospatial data: next departures, JMA warnings, municipality facts, RTK base stations and furusato-nozei prices, with…

What you can do
  • Look up next boat, bus or tram departures from listed places in Japan, with operator and last-departure info
  • Get live conditions for a point or place: municipality code, JMA warnings, nearest AMeDAS observation, heat index, earthquakes, hazard zones and elevation
  • Retrieve static municipality facts by 5-digit code, including names, prefecture, population and centre point
  • Find nearby community RTK (NTRIP) base stations worldwide with mountpoint, host, distance and grade
  • Compare furusato-nozei return goods by grams per 10,000 yen of donation
  • Browse an index of English field-guide articles on using GNSS in Japan
When to use it
Useful when an assistant answers questions about travel in Japan, local warnings and hazards, Japanese municipalities, or GNSS/RTK base station availability, and you want one keyless endpoint instead of several sources.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no API key, account, environment variables or headers are declared. Network access to the service is required.
Before you install
Warnings are relayed from the Japan Meteorological Agency and the official source is jma.go.jp, so verify safety-critical information there. Data is published under CC BY 4.0 and the provider asks for citation of KUON GEO with the retrieval date. Values are returned as published by the API.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Kuongeo in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.Kotaro-Studio%2Fkuongeo/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows
