Overview

AI-generated overview

Runs local PDF, resume and CSV analysis tools on your own machine, with no file uploads.

What you can do
Provides five local document tools: pdf_pages reports page count and per-page text length; pdf_find locates every occurrence of a phrase with page and line; redact_plan previews how many term matches would be blacked out per page; score_resume scores a resume PDF against a job posting; column_stats returns sum, average, min and max for a CSV column. It understands currency and accounting notation such as $2,150.00 and (1,234.50). It refuses ambiguous columns, such as dates, rather than guessing.
When to use it
Use it when you want an assistant to inspect PDFs, resumes or CSV columns that already sit on your machine and you would rather not upload them. It suits quick local checks like phrase lookups, redaction previews and column summaries.
Requirements
Runs locally over stdio, typically via npx akd-vaultpdf-mcp, so Node.js is needed. A paid pass is required: set VAULTPDF_SESSION to the Stripe receipt id from a purchase, or VAULTPDF_TOKEN to an already minted licence token. The token is cached at ~/.vaultpdf/licence.json and checked against the server on each start. Desktop only.
Before you install
There is no free tier for agents: without a valid licence, tools/list returns an empty list and calls fail. A pass costs $2.22 a day, $5.55 a week or $16 a month, and the day and week passes do not renew. VAULTPDF_SESSION and VAULTPDF_TOKEN are secrets and should not be shared. The licence is validated against a remote server, so network access is required at start.

Score

25% of the applicable checks met

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.

  • Reached in the last 30 days25 pts

Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.

  • Auth declared10 pts

Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.

  • Tools listed15 pts

Answer tools/list without a credential, or ship a package that starts in a sandbox without one.
