MCP server to publish to Substack, Ghost, Dev.to, WordPress, LinkedIn + 5 more from Claude Code.
Overview
Lets an assistant draft, SEO-check, and publish articles to multiple blogging and social platforms, then track their performance.
- What you can do
- Pipepost is a local MCP server that turns an assistant into a content publishing pipeline. It scores content for SEO, generates meta tags and JSON-LD, audits markdown and links, and saves drafts locally. It publishes or cross-publishes to Dev.to, Ghost, Hashnode, WordPress, Medium, and Substack with automatic canonical URL wiring, posts to Bluesky, Mastodon, LinkedIn, and X, generates social and repurposed posts, fetches cover images from Unsplash, submits URLs to IndexNow, and reports views, reactions, and comments across configured platforms.
- When to use it
- Useful for writers, developer advocates, and marketers who publish the same article to several CMS platforms and social networks and want the assistant to handle formatting, SEO, canonical URLs, and promotion. Less useful if you publish to a single platform or do not want to store platform API credentials locally.
- Requirements
- Runs as a local stdio process via the npm package pipepost-mcp (Node.js/npx). Platform API keys or tokens are entered through the setup tool and stored in a local config file; Substack uses a connect.sid cookie value plus the publication URL, LinkedIn uses OAuth scopes, and X uses OAuth 1.0a. Network access is needed for publishing, analytics, image search, and IndexNow. Some tools consume paid credits.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Pipepost in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.
Other MCP clients
Follow the launch instructions in the repository.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
