Generate design token systems from a hex color — OKLCH-derived, WCAG-validated, multi-format

VerifiedSTDIODesktop onlyMedia & Design

Overview

AI-generated overview

Local MCP server that turns a single hex color into a design token system, derived in OKLCH, checked against WCAG contrast, and output in multiple formats.

What you can do
  • Generate a design token system from one hex color input.
  • Derive color scales and tokens in the OKLCH color space.
  • Validate color pairings against WCAG contrast requirements.
  • Emit the resulting tokens in multiple output formats.
When to use it
Useful when starting or extending a UI theme and you want an assistant to build a consistent, accessible color palette from a brand hex value instead of hand-picking shades.
Requirements
Runs as a local process over stdio, installed from the npm package tokven-mcp, so a Node.js runtime is needed. No authentication, environment variables or headers are declared.
Before you install
No credentials or write access are indicated; the manifest lists no tools, so the exact operations and output formats are not documented here. Review the generated tokens before adopting them in production.

Score

25% of the applicable checks met

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.

  • Reached in the last 30 days25 pts

Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.

  • Auth declared10 pts

Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.

  • Tools listed15 pts

Answer tools/list without a credential, or ship a package that starts in a sandbox without one.
