Send trade alerts from Claude, Cursor or any MCP client to Nyria Paper or your broker.
Overview
Nyria's hosted MCP server lets an assistant send trade alerts to Nyria Paper or a connected broker and check orders, positions and bots.
- What you can do
- Preview how Nyria would interpret an alert without placing anything
- Send alerts to the bots on a strategy and get an order ID per order
- Look up a single order's status, filled quantity and fill price
- Review open positions per account, recent orders, bots and strategy details
- When to use it
- Useful when you want an AI client such as Claude or Cursor to turn trading ideas into alerts on a Nyria strategy, or to check what a strategy's bots, orders and positions look like. Start on paper trading and preview alerts before sending.
- Requirements
- Remote Streamable HTTP endpoint hosted by Nyria; nothing to install. Needs a free Nyria account with a strategy and a bot, and a per-strategy bearer token sent in the Authorization header (or embedded in the connector URL for Claude.ai and Claude Desktop).
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Nyria in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Connect Authorization token credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.Nyria-LLC%2Fnyria/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.Other MCP clients
Add this to your client's mcpServers config.

Nyria MCP server
Send trade alerts from Claude, Cursor or any MCP client to Nyria Paper or your broker. Alert to order, sub-second.
Endpoint: https://api.nyria.io/mcp (Streamable HTTP, hosted by Nyria, nothing to install)
Quickstart
- Create a free Nyria account, a strategy and a bot on Nyria Paper.
- Open the strategy, go to the Integration tab and select Show URL. The token is the last part of the MCP server URL.
- Add the server to your client.
Claude Code:
Cursor, in ~/.cursor/mcp.json or .cursor/mcp.json. Set NYRIA_MCP_TOKEN in the environment Cursor starts from:
- Ask your agent: "Run nyria_list_bots, then preview an alert to buy SPY. Send nothing."
Claude.ai and Claude Desktop take a custom connector with the URL https://api.nyria.io/mcp/YOUR_TOKEN. Step-by-step guides: Claude, Cursor and ChatGPT.
Auth
Each strategy has its own token. Send it as a header:
The token works like a password and only reaches that one strategy. Rotate it on the Integration tab any time, which stops the old one at once. Keep it in an environment variable, out of chats and commits.
Tools
A live bot turns a sent alert into a real order. Start with a paper bot, and preview before you send.
Alerts
An alert needs a ticker and an action. Plain text works, and so does JSON:
The bot sets the order size. Nyria places market and limit orders, and exits are alerts of their own. Field reference: webhook payload reference.
Building a bot with an AI assistant
Nyria-LLC/ai-trading-bot-starter has CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md, Cursor rules and prompts for writing a Pine Script v6 strategy and testing it on paper through this server. Nyria-LLC/trading-alert-examples has alert messages checked against Nyria's alert tester.

Paper is free. Live trading from $15 a month. Nyria is software, not a broker-dealer or an adviser, and trading involves risk of loss. See the risk disclosure.
