Drive OctoPerf load testing from any AI agent: import, edit, validate, run scenarios, read metrics.
Overview
Hosted OctoPerf MCP server that lets an assistant import, edit, validate and run load-test scenarios and read bench metrics.
- What you can do
- Import and convert load tests from HAR recordings, JTL/JMeter results, K6 scripts, BlazeMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner and NeoLoad
- Edit and correlate virtual users, triage validation errors, and compose scenarios with load shapes and user profiles
- Run scenarios, schedule them, and poll asynchronous task results
- Read bench results and metrics, edit report widgets, and export bench reports as PDF
- Manage workspaces, projects, members and permissions, plus monitoring, SLAs, notifications and on-premise agents
- When to use it
- Useful when you already use OctoPerf for load and performance testing and want an assistant to drive imports, migrations, correlation, scenario setup, scheduling and result analysis from natural-language requests instead of the web UI.
- Requirements
- A remote MCP endpoint at api.octoperf.com over Streamable HTTP; no API key or local runtime. An OctoPerf account is required, and the first call opens a browser for OAuth 2.1 login (PKCE, DCR). Works with any MCP client; the Claude Code plugin is optional.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Octoperf in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.OctoPerf%2Foctoperf/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.Other MCP clients
Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

OctoPerf — Claude Code plugins
[License] [MCP docs] [smithery badge] [Install in VS Code]
Claude Code plugin marketplace for the OctoPerf load-testing platform.
Not using Claude Code? The OctoPerf MCP server is a hosted, client-agnostic remote server (
https://api.octoperf.com/mcp, Streamable HTTP, OAuth 2.1 — no API key). It works with any MCP client. This repo is just the one-step Claude Code entry point — see Other clients below.
This repo distributes one plugin (octoperf) that:
- registers the hosted OctoPerf MCP server (
https://api.octoperf.com/mcp, Streamable HTTP, OAuth 2.1 + PKCE + DCR — no API key); - installs twenty-two workflow skills that drive the MCP tools end-to-end (recording & import, K6 scripting, migration from BlazeMeter / Gatling / LoadRunner / NeoLoad, correlation, validation, scenario composition, SLAs, monitoring, bench reports, scheduling, notifications, on-premise agents, workspaces…);
- ships an
AGENTS.mdreference describing every MCP tool the server exposes.
Install
The first MCP call opens a browser for OAuth login on api.octoperf.com.
Revoke at any time from Account → Connected applications on OctoPerf.

Skills
Other clients
The MCP server is not Claude-specific. To connect Claude.ai, Claude Desktop,
Cursor, ChatGPT, Codex, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot — or any other MCP client —
see the MCP server documentation. Most
clients just need the server URL https://api.octoperf.com/mcp.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
