Ball Ranks
io.github.Ollynovv1.1.0Updated Oct 8, 2026
Fantasy football and basketball rankings and player projections from Ball Ranks.
Overview
Read-only remote MCP server that gives an assistant published fantasy football and basketball rankings and player projections.
- What it does
- Ball Ranks exposes a read-only remote MCP endpoint with four tools: get_week_rankings, get_season_rankings, get_player_rankings, and get_player_projections. Each tool returns structured content plus a canonical sourceUrl. Clients discover the live tool list, so the provider can add capabilities without changing the server URL.
- When to use it
- Useful when an assistant needs current fantasy football or basketball rankings or player projections for lineup, waiver, or draft discussions. It is meant for read-only lookups rather than managing a fantasy league or making roster changes.
- Requirements
- A remote MCP client pointed at the Ball Ranks MCP endpoint; no local runtime or package is needed. Anonymous access works with lower request limits, and an optional Ball Ranks API key can be created for account-level limits. Network access to the provider is required.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Ball Ranks in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Other MCP clients

Ball Ranks plugin
Ball Ranks provides published fantasy basketball and football rankings and player projections through a read-only remote MCP server.
This repository packages the same live server for ChatGPT and Codex, Claude, Gemini CLI, Grok Build, Muse Code, and other Agent Plugins or MCP-compatible clients. The initial MCP surface contains four tools; clients discover the live tool list so Ball Ranks can add capabilities without changing the server URL.
