Nova3D

Generates structured, part-aware 3D assets (named GLB parts, joints, Blender script) from text prompts or reference images via the Nova3D hosted pipeline.

What you can do

Exposes Nova3D's generation pipeline as MCP tools. generate_3d turns a prompt (and optional base64 reference image) into a GLB with named, separately editable parts, a conversation_url editing session, and a code_artifact. regenerate_part, add_part and articulate_model edit one part, add components, or add joints using that artifact; get_generation_status checks a running workflow. nova3d_login, nova3d_status and nova3d_logout handle onboarding and session state.

When to use it

Use it when an assistant should produce editable 3D assets for game engines, configurators, robotics simulations or AR scenes, where named parts and real joints matter more than a single fused mesh. It is not a local Blender remote control and does not render inside the editor.

Requirements

Local stdio process run with uvx nova3d-mcp (Python/uv required; a local venv install is also documented). A Nova3D account is needed: browser sign-in through nova3d_login, or the advanced fallback key NOVA3D_TOKEN. Optional NOVA3D_APP_URL and NOVA3D_API_URL override the app and API base URLs. Network access to the hosted backend is required; previews open in a browser.
