io.github.SHARProductionPublished by GitHub account SHARProductionv1.0.1Updated Oct 24, 2026
Read-only validation of rights-aware production metadata manifests for MCP-compatible clients.
Overview
A read-only local MCP server that validates rights-aware production metadata manifests and returns a releasability result for agents.
- What you can do
- Validate a production metadata manifest: the single validate_production_manifest tool accepts a manifest object and returns a releasability result, distinguishing structural validity from the releasability policy for an unknown rights status.
- When to use it
- Useful when an assistant works with video production metadata and needs to check whether a manifest is structurally valid and releasable before acting on it, without touching files or networks.
- Requirements
- Runs as a local process over stdio. The README's installation path is cloning the source repository, running npm ci and starting node server.js, so Node.js and npm are needed. No authentication, environment variables or headers are declared. A public npm release is not currently available.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open SHAR Production Metadata MCP in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.
Other MCP clients
Follow the launch instructions in the repository.
README
SHAR Production Metadata MCP
SHAR Production is an AI-hybrid video production studio. This MIT-licensed, read-only MCP server validates rights-aware production metadata manifests for agents and MCP-compatible clients.
It exposes validate_production_manifest. The tool accepts a manifest object, returns a releasability result, does not read local files, call networks, or publish data.
The npm package name is reserved in the project metadata, but a public npm release is not currently available. Use the source installation above until a public package release is independently verifiable.

JSON Schema
The machine-readable structural contract is available at schema/production-manifest.schema.json. It mirrors the validator fields and deliberately distinguishes structural validity from the releasability policy for ights_status=unknown.

Score
50% of the applicable checks met
How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
- Reached in the last 30 days25 pts
Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.
- Auth declared10 pts
Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.
