Requirements
Runs locally as a Node.js process from the npm package thrd-mcp over stdio; desktop only. Needs a Thrd agent API key in THRD_API_KEY (sent as a Bearer token) and optionally THRD_API_BASE_URL for the API base URL. Network access to the Thrd API is required.
Before you install
The API key in THRD_API_KEY is a credential that grants access to the account's email; keep it out of logs and shared configs. The server can send and reply to email, so messages may go to real recipients and cannot be recalled. Mail content and metadata are sent to the Thrd API.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Thrd in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.
