Overview

AI-generated overview

CurlShot renders public web pages into screenshots, PDFs or scrolling videos, so an assistant can capture a page on demand.

What you can do
  • Render a public web page as an image, PDF or scrolling video, choosing format and viewport device
  • List the device presets available for the viewport_device option
  • Return oversized results as a temporary download link instead of inline data
When to use it
Useful when an assistant needs a visual capture of a live public page — for design checks, sharing a page state, or producing a PDF or scrolling video — without running a browser locally.
Requirements
Remote streamable HTTP endpoint at curlshot.com. A CurlShot API key is required, sent as an Authorization bearer header. A free key can be obtained by registering. Network access to the service is needed.
Before you install
Rendering consumes the account's screenshot quota, though cache hits and failed renders are free. The API key is a secret sent in the Authorization header. Only public pages can be captured, and results over 6 MB come back as a download link valid for about a day.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open CurlShot in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect Authorization token credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.SergiuPogor%2Fcurlshot/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows
