Email and calendar API tools for agents: inboxes, conversations, availability and reliable booking.

Overview

AI-generated overview

DakNode gives an assistant email and calendar tools: inboxes, conversations, availability checks and reliable booking, run locally over stdio.

What you can do
  • Work with email inboxes and conversations through the DakNode API
  • Check availability and make reliable calendar bookings
  • Discover static local capabilities without an API key
  • Requires a DakNode API key for data operations
When to use it
Useful when you want an assistant to triage email threads and schedule meetings against real availability rather than drafting text only.
Requirements
Runs as a local process on the user's machine via uvx from the daknode-mcp PyPI package; desktop only. A DakNode API key in the DAKNODE_API_KEY environment variable is required for data operations and optional for static local discovery. Network access to the DakNode service is implied.
Before you install
The server handles email and calendar data, so the assistant may read conversations and create or change bookings. The DAKNODE_API_KEY secret should be configured privately and kept out of shared configuration; email and calendar content is sent to the DakNode service.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open DakNode in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.

  • Reached in the last 30 days25 pts

Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.

  • Auth declared10 pts

Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.

Answer tools/list without a credential, or ship a package that starts in a sandbox without one.
