Overview

AI-generated overview

GroundLock is a remote MCP server whose single tool checks a factual claim against public web pages and returns a verdict with sources.

What you can do
  • Verify a factual claim against public pages and get back a verdict of supported, refuted or unverifiable.
  • Receive a confidence score between 0 and 1 along with the sources used.
  • Read quoted snippets from those sources to see what the verdict is based on.
When to use it
Useful when an assistant needs a quick, sourced sanity check on a factual statement before repeating or acting on it. Best for low-stakes verification where a reading of public pages at call time is enough, not for authoritative or high-stakes fact determination.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no local package or runtime. A GroundLock API key is required, sent as an Authorization bearer token (or as an api_key argument on the tool), obtained by signing up on the provider's site. Network access to the endpoint and to the public pages it reads.
Before you install
The API key is a secret sent in the Authorization header; keep it out of logs and shared transcripts. Verdicts reflect public pages at call time and are explicitly not a guarantee, so do not treat them as certainty. Claims you submit are sent to a third-party service for checking.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open GroundLock in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect Authorization token credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.Surface-ops%2Fgroundlock-mcp/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
