ProdHub Application Delivery
io.github.SwaDeshiTechPublished by GitHub account SwaDeshiTechv0.8.0Updated Nov 1, 2026
Deploy and diagnose applications in governed Kubernetes Preview Spaces through authenticated MCP.
Overview
Hosted ProdHub MCP server that lets an assistant deploy and diagnose applications in governed Kubernetes Preview Spaces via OAuth-authenticated tools.
- What you can do
- Discover delivery capabilities and role-visible product areas, then list and execute permitted product operations
- Resolve applications, build profiles and repositories, then trigger builds and poll pipeline executions
- Plan and provision Preview Spaces, monitor them, and retry failed deliveries in the same environment
- Review and revoke the user's browser sessions, MCP sessions and generated API tokens
- When to use it
- Useful when a coding assistant should take a repository branch to a ProdHub Preview Space, reuse existing application profiles for a verified preview URL, or diagnose and retry a failed preview deployment.
- Requirements
- A remote Streamable HTTP endpoint at app.prodhub.in/mcp; no local package or credentials in the kit. Requires browser-based OAuth sign-in, choosing an organization and approving consent; sessions are scoped to that organization.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open ProdHub Application Delivery in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.SwaDeshiTech%2Fprodhub/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.Other MCP clients
Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

ProdHub Agent Kit
Give any MCP-compatible coding harness a safe, repeatable path from source code to a ProdHub Preview Space.
The hosted server also exposes named operations for the authenticated user's
role-visible ProdHub areas. Agents discover these through
list_available_product_areas and list_product_operations, then execute only
returned operation IDs through execute_product_operation. Arbitrary backend
paths are not accepted, writes require explicit confirmation, and normal
Gateway ACL plus ProdHub ownership checks still apply. Cloud Resources, Cloud
Snapshot, and Snapshot History are intentionally not exposed through MCP.
The MCP transport and every tool operation use the same path, method, and role
ACL policy as their equivalent ProdHub HTTP APIs; an unconfigured operation is
denied by default.
This kit does not contain credentials. ProdHub uses browser-based OAuth, scopes each session to the approved organization, and applies the same role controls as the product UI.
Install
The canonical remote MCP endpoint is:
ProdHub is described for machine discovery in server.json and
published under io.github.SwaDeshiTech/prodhub in the official MCP Registry.
MCP clients and registry-backed catalogs can use that entry to discover the
hosted Streamable HTTP endpoint without relying on a general web search.
Codex
Merge the delivery instructions in AGENTS.md into the repository where Codex
should use ProdHub; preserve existing project instructions. Copy the supporting
docs too, or retain links to this kit.
Gemini CLI
Copy GEMINI.md into that repository or merge its instructions with an existing
project file.
Claude Code and other MCP clients
Use the remote-server entry in mcp.json, then copy or merge CLAUDE.md into the project guidance file used by your client.
ChatGPT and Codex plugin
This repository is also a portable Agent Plugins package:
plugin.jsoncontains the public listing, onboarding, review, and publication metadata.mcp.jsondeclares the remote ProdHub MCP server and OAuth with dynamic client registration.skills/get-started/SKILL.mdsupplies the post-install setup and safe-delivery workflow.assets/prodhub-icon.svgis the square directory and composer icon.
Generate the ZIP to upload in the OpenAI Plugins submission portal:
Before final submission, record a reviewer-accessible walkthrough and add its URL
to extensions.com.openai.review.demo_recording_url in plugin.json. Enter the
dedicated test-account credentials only in the secure review form; never commit
them to this repository.
Follow the complete ChatGPT submission checklist for the review fixture, domain verification, upload, and publication steps.
First connection
- Add the MCP endpoint in the client.
- Start the OAuth connection. Sign in to ProdHub and choose an organization.
- Approve the consent screen.
- Ask the coding harness to deploy a branch or create a Preview Space.
To disconnect, use the MCP client's remove/disconnect action. ProdHub advertises an OAuth token-revocation endpoint, so compatible clients can invalidate their access or refresh token immediately instead of waiting for expiry.
An authorized agent can also call list_access_credentials to review the
user's browser sessions, MCP sessions, and generated API tokens. It must show
the exact credential and obtain explicit confirmation before calling
revoke_access_credential; the server independently verifies ownership and
never returns bearer-token values.
For a normal application build, use list_applications,
list_application_profiles, and get_application_profile to resolve the exact
BUILD profile. Show the selected repository, profile, and immutable commit SHA;
after explicit approval call trigger_build, then poll the returned execution
with get_pipeline_execution.
The agent should begin with get_prodhub_delivery_capabilities, call
list_available_product_areas, inspect the repository
and the prodhub_build contract, show a plan, obtain approval, and then create
resources. The product-area response is filtered by the same role-based tab
configuration used by the ProdHub UI and does not require organization selection.
Read the full workflow in docs/preview-delivery.md.
Understand the product before deploying
Start with product concepts to distinguish applications, profiles, provider connections, Preview Spaces, and pipeline executions. Then follow the end-to-end Preview Space runbook. It covers new applications, existing profiles, credential sync, branch/revision verification, planning, explicit profile selection, provisioning, monitoring, retrying in the same environment, and lifecycle handoff.
Use profile field definitions while inspecting source,
and failure recovery when delivery fails.
These guides describe the current implementation; the connected server's
tools/list is authoritative for tool availability.
Example requests
- “Deploy this repository's feature/login branch to a new Preview Space for one day.”
- “Reuse the existing catalog application's profiles and give me a verified preview URL.”
- “Check why this Preview Space failed, fix the configuration, and retry in the same environment.”
The agent should retain the application, profile, environment, and execution IDs returned by tools. Users should not have to discover these IDs manually. Local uncommitted changes are not included in a remote build.
Important boundaries
plan_application_preview plans delivery for an existing application with saved
profiles. New application onboarding needs its own proposal before those records
are created. The planner does not validate the source code or reserve resources.
A url_available response means a URL exists, not necessarily that the application
has finished deploying. Inspect the current execution and verify the application
response before reporting success. Early environment deletion and generic profile
updates currently need a supported product flow; do not invent MCP tools for them.
mcp.json is a configuration example. Clients have different file names and
schemas; cloning this repository alone does not register the MCP server.

Publishing discovery metadata
The Publish MCP Registry metadata GitHub workflow validates and publishes
server.json using GitHub OIDC. No registry token or long-lived secret is
required. Increment the manifest version whenever the public MCP identity or
tool contract changes; merging that update to main republishes the entry.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
