Overview

AI-generated overview

Lets an assistant answer questions about earning money online using dated, sourced guides, platform rules, and checks on AI-income offers.

What it does
Serves the public guides at tori-tic.github.io: 40 ways rated worth a try, watch, or do not start; rules and fees for 33 platforms; 23 dated platform changes; and a Reality Check of 15 make-money-with-AI schemes. Tools include search_ways to find ways by words, verdict, minutes per day or free-to-start; get_way for a full guide; check_offer to compare a pitch against the Reality Check and do-not-start guides; get_platform_rules for fees and account-removal norms; and recent_changes for dated platform changes. Every answer links back to its source guide.
When to use it
Use it when someone asks what is worth trying for extra income online, wants platform rules and fees, or wants a pitched AI-income course or trading-bot offer checked against what could and could not be verified. It is meant for sourced guidance rather than the assistant's memory. It does not promise income and is not financial, tax or legal advice.
Requirements
Nothing to install for the hosted endpoint: add the remote Streamable HTTP URL to any MCP client that accepts a URL, or as a custom connector in Claude. No account, API key, environment variable or header is needed. Optionally run locally with Node.js via npm install and node src/stdio.js.
Before you install
Read-only and stores nothing, but verdicts and earnings notes are dated judgements from public sources, not guarantees of income. It is not financial, tax or legal advice, and the data is a snapshot; the linked guide is the current version. No account, API key or payment is requested.

Installation

README

Guides by TIC: an MCP server for earning online, with sources

Ask your AI assistant what is worth trying for extra income online, and get an answer from dated, sourced guides instead of from memory. Ask it about an "AI income" course or a trading-bot pitch, and it checks the pitch against what could and could not be verified.

It serves the public guides at tori-tic.github.io: 40 ways rated worth a try, watch, not proven yet or do not start, rules and fees for 33 platforms, 23 dated platform changes, and a Reality Check of 15 "make money with AI" schemes. Every answer links back to the guide it came from.

Read-only. No account, no API key, no outbound network calls from the server, nothing stored. The data ships with the server.

Tools

ToolWhat it does
search_waysFind ways to earn by words, verdict, minutes per day, or free to start
get_wayFull guide for one way: what you sell, earnings note as checked, one-time setup, platform rules, stop rule, risks
check_offerCompare a pitched offer with the Reality Check and the "do not start" guides
get_platform_rulesFees, house norms, what gets accounts removed, whether automation is allowed
recent_changesDated platform changes with a "so what" and a source

All five are marked read-only.

Use it

Hosted endpoint (Streamable HTTP, nothing to install): https://tic-guides-mcp.vercel.app/mcp

  • Any MCP client that takes a URL: add it as a remote server. In Claude, add it as a custom connector.
  • Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http tic-guides https://tic-guides-mcp.vercel.app/mcp
  • Claude Code plugin (adds a skill that tells Claude when to use the tools):
    /plugin marketplace add Tori-TIC/tic-guides-mcp/plugin install tic-guides@tic
  • Gemini CLI: gemini extensions install https://github.com/Tori-TIC/tic-guides-mcp
  • Official MCP Registry: io.github.Tori-TIC/tic-guides

Run it yourself (stdio): clone this repository, npm install, then point your client at node src/stdio.js. The server makes no network calls.

What it is not

It does not promise income. A verdict is a judgement from public sources on a given date, and an earnings note is what could be checked, not what you will make. It is not financial, tax or legal advice. The data is a snapshot; the linked guide is the current version.
