Postbolt
io.github.WhitemarmotPublished by GitHub account Whitemarmotv1.0.2Updated Oct 24, 2026
Publish to 13+ social media platforms from any AI agent via MCP.
Overview
Lets an assistant publish, schedule, and manage social media posts across 13+ platforms through the PostBolt API.
- What you can do
- Provides tools to publish a post immediately to one or more platforms, schedule a post for a future time, list and inspect posts with per-platform results, update or cancel scheduled posts, and upload an image to attach. It also exposes resources for the account profile (plan, quota, allowed platforms) and connected social accounts.
- When to use it
- Useful when you want an assistant to draft and push content to multiple social networks from one place, queue posts for later, or check how a post performed per platform without opening each network's own dashboard.
- Requirements
- Runs locally over stdio, typically launched with npx, so Node.js is needed. Requires a PostBolt account and an API key supplied as the POSTBOLT_API_KEY environment variable. Network access to the PostBolt API is required. Desktop MCP clients only.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Postbolt in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.
Other MCP clients
Follow the launch instructions in the repository.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
- Reached in the last 30 days25 pts
Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.
- Auth declared10 pts
Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.
