CV Chap Chap lets an assistant review a CV against builder rules, look up African CV conventions, suggest designs, search Tanzania jobs and save a private CV…
What you can do
Check a CV against the builder's rules and get a fix for each failed check
Look up CV conventions for 16 African countries, including length, photo, referees and how to apply
List CV designs by style and photo option, with names, ids and thumbnails
Search open vacancies on the CV Chap Chap jobs board in Tanzania, newest first
Save a CV written in the conversation as a new private draft with a private link
When to use it
Useful when helping someone in Africa, especially Tanzania, write or improve a CV: checking a draft, adapting it to a country's conventions, picking a design, or looking for local vacancies.
Requirements
Remote endpoint at cvchapchap.com over streamable HTTP; no sign-in, environment variables or headers are declared.
Before you install
Saving a draft creates a new private draft on CV Chap Chap each time and returns a private link, so CV content leaves the conversation; nothing existing is changed. The assistant is told to use only the person's real details and not invent jobs, dates or skills.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.africanuspanga%2Fcv-chap-chap/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
For a person who wants feedback on their CV. Checks it against the same rules the CV Chap Chap builder uses: complete contact details, a summary, at least two duties and dates for every job, education, at least five skills and nothing left in [brackets]. Returns each check with a fix. Reads only the CV it is given and stores nothing.
