Marketing Assistant MCP: draft, approve, and publish posts to X from your coding agent.

VerifiedSTDIODesktop onlyCommunication & Collaboration

Overview

AI-generated overview

A local MCP server that lets a coding agent draft, approve and publish posts to X (Twitter) using the user's own X developer credentials.

What you can do
Draft posts for X from within a coding agent session, then review and approve them before anything is published. Publish approved posts to X through the X API using OAuth 2.0 credentials supplied by the user. The manifest lists no individual tools, so the exact set of actions is not documented beyond drafting, approving and publishing posts.
When to use it
Useful when you want an assistant to help compose marketing or social posts and push approved ones to X without leaving your development workflow. Best suited to users who already have an X developer app and are comfortable managing OAuth credentials.
Requirements
Runs locally as an npm package over stdio, so Node.js and a desktop environment are needed. Requires an X (Twitter) developer app with OAuth 2.0: X_CLIENT_ID is required, X_CLIENT_SECRET is needed only for confidential clients, and X_REDIRECT_URI must exactly match the callback registered in the X developer portal. Network access to the X API is required.
Before you install
Publishing sends content publicly to X under your account, so review drafts before approving. The server needs X OAuth credentials, including the secret X_CLIENT_SECRET for confidential clients; keep these out of shared configuration. Posts and related data go to X's servers.

Score

25% of the applicable checks met

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.

  • Reached in the last 30 days25 pts

Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.

  • Auth declared10 pts

Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.

  • Tools listed15 pts

Answer tools/list without a credential, or ship a package that starts in a sandbox without one.

  • Logo10 pts
  • Documentation15 pts

Declare a GitHub repository with a README, or serve resource_documentation in the OAuth protected-resource metadata.

  • License10 pts

Declare a license in the repository or the registry entry.
