Overview
A local MCP server that runs an Aho-Corasick automaton to match many keywords at once against text, for dictionary matching and prompt content filtering.
- What you can do
- Match a dictionary of keywords against supplied text in a single pass using an Aho-Corasick automaton, reporting which patterns occur and where. Apply the same matching for content filtering in LLM prompts. Run entirely in memory with deterministic, low-latency results. Use it as a Python module or start it as a local MCP server process.
- When to use it
- Useful when an assistant needs to check text against a large keyword or blocklist quickly, such as filtering prompts, scanning content, or detecting many terms in one pass, and you prefer a self-contained local tool with no external dependencies.
- Requirements
- Runs as a local process on the user's machine (desktop only) and requires a Python runtime; the README states it uses only the Python standard library with no external pip dependencies. No authentication, environment variables or headers are declared.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open GenPark Aho-Corasick Multi-Pattern Matcher in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.
Other MCP clients
Follow the launch instructions in the repository.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
- Reached in the last 30 days25 pts
Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.
- Auth declared10 pts
Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.
