LLM output Mermaid diagram linting, unquoted bracket healing, and syntax normalization engine
Overview
A local MCP server that lints Mermaid diagrams in LLM output, repairs unquoted brackets and normalizes syntax.
- What you can do
- Lint Mermaid diagram code found in Markdown or LLM output
- Heal unquoted bracket syntax that breaks rendering
- Normalize Mermaid syntax into a consistent form
- Runs as a small local Python process with no external dependencies
- When to use it
- Useful when an assistant generates or edits Markdown containing Mermaid diagrams and you want them checked and repaired before rendering, especially when LLM output often produces broken diagram syntax.
- Requirements
- Runs locally over stdio as a Python 3 process started with mcp_server.py; the README states it uses only the Python standard library, so no extra packages, accounts, keys or network access are declared.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open GenPark Markdown Mermaid Syntax Lint Healer in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.
Other MCP clients
Follow the launch instructions in the repository.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.

Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.
- Auth declared10 pts
Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.
