Overview
Local MCP server that redacts and tokenizes PII such as emails, phone numbers, IPs and credit cards using regex and Luhn heuristics.
- What you can do
- Redact and tokenize sensitive text: detect and mask emails, phone numbers, IP addresses and credit card numbers using regex rules plus a Luhn check.
- Sanitize data before it is shared: produce cleaned text for prompts, logs or agent pipelines.
- Run as a local MCP server or import the same logic as a Python library in your own scripts.
- When to use it
- Useful when an assistant handles text that may contain personal or payment data and you want it masked before it goes further, for example preparing prompts, logs or datasets for an agent workflow.
- Requirements
- Runs as a local process on the user's machine (desktop only) via a packaged MCP bundle; the README shows starting it with python mcp_server.py. It uses only the Python standard library, so no third-party dependencies, accounts, API keys or environment variables are declared.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open GenPark PII Redactor & Data Masker in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.
Other MCP clients
Follow the launch instructions in the repository.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.

Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.

Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.
