Search Google Flights through SerpApi: one-way and round-trip flights by IATA airport code.
Overview
A local MCP server that searches Google Flights via SerpApi, returning one-way and round-trip options by IATA airport code.
- What you can do
- Search flights between two airports by IATA code, with optional return date for round trips, returning airline, price in USD, duration, stops, departure and arrival times, and cabin class. Check server status and version.
- When to use it
- Useful when an assistant should look up flight options and prices for a trip between two airports, for example comparing one-way or round-trip itineraries before booking elsewhere.
- Requirements
- Runs locally as a Python package (Python 3.10+ or uv, launched with uvx or pip install) or via Docker. Requires a SerpApi key supplied in the SERP_API_KEY environment variable and network access to SerpApi.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Flight Search in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.
Other MCP clients
Follow the launch instructions in the repository.

50% of the applicable checks met
How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
- Reached in the last 30 days25 pts
Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.
- Auth declared10 pts
Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.
