Pay per call website intelligence: site reports, page reading, DNS, sitemaps and link maps.
Overview
Local MCP server that gives an assistant ten paid website and domain intelligence tools — site reports, page reading, DNS, sitemaps and link maps — billed per…
- What you can do
- Run a full domain report: contact details, tech stack clues, TLS, headers, DNS, certificate basics and hygiene findings
- Read a web page as clean text and metadata, or pull title, Open Graph, Twitter card and structured data tags
- Look up DNS records, registration basics and subdomains from public certificate logs
- List a domain's sitemaps and the page addresses inside them, and split a page's links into internal and external
- Trace every redirect hop and run a quick HTTPS, certificate and security-header check
- Normalize an RSS, Atom or RDF feed into dated items with summaries
- When to use it
- Useful when an assistant needs to research or audit websites and domains — checking a site's security posture, reading pages, mapping links and sitemaps, or pulling DNS and registration data — without setting up an account or API key.
- Requirements
- Runs locally via npx (Node.js). Requires the PAYER_PRIVATE_KEY environment variable: the private key of a wallet funded with USDC on Base, plus a little ETH for network costs. Optional API_URL overrides the default API base address. Network access to the Sitesy API and the public web is needed.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Website Intelligence in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.
Other MCP clients
Follow the launch instructions in the repository.
README
Sitesy Website Intelligence for MCP
Ten website and domain tools for AI agents, served by the Sitesy API at api.sitesy.ca and paid per call in USDC on Base through the x402 protocol. There is no account, no API key, and no subscription. Whoever runs this server pays for each call from their own wallet, which the server reads from an environment variable and never stores anywhere else.
The tools
Quick start
Add the server to your MCP client configuration:
Environment variables
PAYER_PRIVATE_KEY is required. It is the private key of the wallet that pays for calls. Use a wallet that holds only a small working balance of USDC on Base. Treat it the way you would treat any wallet key: keep it out of source control and out of shared configuration files.
API_URL is optional. It overrides the API base address and defaults to https://api.sitesy.ca.
How payment works
Each tool call asks the API for its result. The API answers with an x402 payment request, this server signs a payment of the listed price from the configured wallet, and the API returns the result as the payment settles on Base. Prices are per call and there are no other charges from the API side.
Safety notes
The tools read only what a normal visitor to a site receives, plus public DNS records, public registration data, and public certificate logs. The reader refuses addresses that resolve to private or local networks.

Score
50% of the applicable checks met
How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
- Reached in the last 30 days25 pts
Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.
- Auth declared10 pts
Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.
- Tools listed15 pts
Answer tools/list without a credential, or ship a package that starts in a sandbox without one.
