Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint at agentswitchboard.dev; no authentication or environment variables are declared. Stdio-only clients need the mcp-remote bridge via npx, and network access is required.
Before you install
submit_listing opens a public GitHub issue, so anything sent becomes publicly visible; only use it after the user confirms the name, URL and description. Directory content is third-party and listings are only link-checked, so verify a tool before relying on it.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Agentswitchboard in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

The curated directory for the agentic web — AI agents, MCP servers, and agentic tools with real API, MCP, CLI, or browser-extension access. Live at agentswitchboard.dev.

A listing marked Verified is one we checked works: its URLs load and its declared access (API, MCP, CLI or extension) responds. Re-checked monthly; the label drops if it stops working.

🗂 Git-as-CMS

The entire catalog lives in this repo:

content/  agents/<slug>.json    one file per agent — the source of truth  categories.json       category definitions  changelog.json        public audit log (rendered at /changelog)

There is no database and no CMS. Editing content = editing files. Merging to main = publishing. Every entry is schema-validated in CI (scripts/validate-content.ts) — a bad entry cannot merge. A weekly job link-checks every listing's agent and provider URLs.

submit_listing

Submit a Listing

Suggest a new listing for the Agent Switchboard directory. This opens a PUBLIC GitHub issue that the maintainer reviews by hand; it does not publish anything. Use it only when the user asks to submit or list a product, after you show them the name, URL, and description you will send and they agree. Call search_agents first: if the product is already listed, tell the user instead. Limited to 5 submissions per hour per caller and one per URL per day.
